Riyadh turns it on Jeddah with a double

The Riyadh first football team achieved its second successive victory at the expense of its guest, Jeddah, with a score of 2-1, on Saturday, at its home stadium, in the 26th round of the Yellow League for first-class clubs.
The first half ended with a 1-1 draw between the two teams, as Jeddah advanced with an early goal through Sultan Suwaied in the sixth minute, and Serbian Miodrag Dimovic succeeded in adjusting the score at the 36th minute.
In the second half, Riyadh achieved the most important goal by scoring a second goal through Brazilian Diego Miranda at the “70th” minute.
With this result, Riyadh rose to third place with 51 points, awaiting the outcome of the Al-Okhdood match (50 points) against Al-Hazm on Sunday.
On the other hand, Jeddah continued its absence from victories for the sixth match in a row, “4 defeats and two draws”, thus remaining on 30 points in 11th place.
The Riyadh and Jeddah teams will return to the league after returning from hiatus in the first week of next April, as the capital team will host its counterpart Al-Hazm on the third of next month, and the western team will meet its counterpart Al-Kholoud in the third of it within the 27th round competitions.
