Of course I love them. I love my wife and children. They are the main people for me.”
He added, “I don’t see them much, my parents I don’t see them at all, they are all in my heart.”
He stated that “the main thing is not to let them down, and for my children to be proud of me, and I am glad that they are in Ukraine, and that they study in Ukrainian schools. It is important for a head of state, whether previous or current, when you are a president in wartime, it is important to have Children are here, because the country is here, because boys and girls are dying here,” he said, adding that he was “incredibly lucky” with his family and country.
