Youth return equal to the air force

The first youth football team returned with a precious “1-1” draw against the Iraqi Air Force, its host, in the confrontation that brought them together at the “Palm Trunk” stadium in Basra, Iraq, on Monday, in the first leg matches of the first round of the King Salman Cup for clubs.
The confrontation between the two teams will be renewed in Riyadh at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, on April 14, during the return match.
The owners of the land were the first to advance and hit the net through Karrar Nabil, who fired a shot from outside the penalty area. South Korean youth goalkeeper Kim Seong watched it as it hit his own net at the 38th minute, so the first half ended with the Iraqi team advancing with a single goal.
In the second half, Al-Shabab intensified its attack in order to return to the match and was able to score a goal that was canceled by the referee on the grounds of offside, before returning and equalizing through Gabonese Aaron Bubenza, who received a distinguished cross from Turki Al-Ammar, which was placed in the Iraqi net in the roof of the goal at the 69th minute.
After the youth goal, the two teams exchanged attacks in order to achieve the goal of progress, especially the owners of the land, but all attempts did not bear fruit, so the confrontation ended in a positive draw “1-1”, and the decision was postponed to the return match in Riyadh.
The winner of the confrontation of the two teams qualifies according to the total result of the two matches, to meet the winner of the Sudanese Al-Merreikh match and the Syrian Tishreen match, and the winner of them joins the third group in the group stage, along with the clubs: “Al-Nasr, Al-Zamalek Al-Masry.”
