Police say the 20-year-old, Rena Christina Ekal, was shot in the head and her body was found Wednesday morning in an alley near 24th and Drake Routes in Illinois, Chicago.
Ekal had only lived in Chicago for 4 months before her murder, and with all of Reina’s family in Guatemala, the people who lived in the community she briefly called “home,” walked through the “little village,” and came close to the area where her body was discovered.
