It’s been 3 weeks since the devastating earthquake struck parts of Turkey and Syria, and on Sunday soccer fans did something to help the youngest survivors of the disaster.
Turkish fans threw effigies onto the pitch, which will be sent to children affected by the earthquake.
It happened when the match was stopped at 4 minutes 17 seconds, which is when the earthquake occurred on February 6.
Some fans were chanting “Resign, government” to protest the Turkish government’s handling of the earthquake response.
