And the capital club stated, through its official account on “Twitter”, the social networking site, on Saturday, that Argentine Betty Martinez underwent a successful knee surgery at the hands of Ramon Cugat, the international surgeon, and under the supervision of David Marquez, the club’s doctor, indicating that the operation took place in the Spanish city of Barcelona. The player will leave it, next Friday, to Argentina, where he will start his rehabilitation program upon his arrival in his country.
And Al-Riyadh had revealed, quoting private sources, in its issue dated February 27, that Argentine Betty Martinez, the first Al-Nasr player, will undergo a careful medical examination with international surgeon Ramon Cugat in the Spanish city of Barcelona, ​​​​before deciding to operate on his knee.
And Betty, 29, suffered a complete tear in the anterior cruciate ligament of the left knee, thus ending his season with the yellow team.
Betty had previously been absent from the Al-Assi team for more than 6 months, after he suffered an injury the year before last, as a result of which he underwent surgery to install the external collateral ligament of the knee.
Betty wore the victory shirt in 58 matches since joining his ranks in September 2020, coming from American Atlanta, scoring 13 goals and making 10.
This season, the Argentine wing played 9 matches, including 7 in the Saudi Roshen League, one in the King’s Cup competitions, and another in the Saudi Super Cup.
