Al-Ittihad Club announced, on Monday, that Brazilian first-team striker Romarinho underwent medical examinations, on Tuesday, on the site of his injury, to ensure his safety.
The Brazilian striker was injured during his team’s confrontation against Al-Fayhaa in the quarter-finals of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, as he left the stadium affected by it.
Romarinho’s participation in front of Al-Fateh has become doubtful when the two teams meet in the 21st round matches of the Saudi Roshen League next Saturday.
Al-Ittihad qualified for the semi-finals of the King’s Cup after defeating Al-Fayhaa by penalty kicks “4-3”, after the end of the normal time and extra time, with the two teams tied “1-1”.
