The Supreme Organizing Committee for the Saudi Games announces, on Sunday, the official date for the launch of the second edition of the tournament, according to what was revealed by the committee’s official account on Twitter, the social networking site.
Sports federations and committees interacted with the tweet, and expressed their full readiness to participate in the largest sporting event at the local level, as the Olympic and Paralympic Committee commented with a tweet: “We have champions ready for the second edition.” As for the Saudi Taekwondo Federation, he wrote: “Our players in the Taekwondo competition are ready.” The Saudi Swimming Federation: “Our heroes are ready.” As for the Saudi Camel Federation, he tweeted: “The camels are ready.”
Riyadh hosted the first edition of the Saudi Games during the period from October 27 to November 7 of last year, with the participation of more than 6,000 athletes and 2,000 technical and administrative supervisors representing more than 200 clubs, competing in 45 individual and team sports, including 5 games designated for Paralympic sports.
