Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, met his Chinese counterpart, Chen Jang, on the sidelines of their participation in the “G20 Summit”, Thursday, according to what was published by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry said on its official page on Twitter: “During the meeting, aspects of the strong relations between the two friendly countries were reviewed, and ways to support and enhance them within the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership, in addition to discussing all regional and international issues of common concern.”

The two ministers discussed ways to intensify joint coordination to serve the interests of the two countries, in addition to exchanging views on issues on the agenda of the G20 foreign ministers.

The ministry indicated that the Saudi ambassador to India, which hosted the summit, attended the meeting between the two ministers.
