Manchester City’s first football team qualified for the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, by defeating Bristol City 3-0, on Tuesday, in the fifth round.
Fulham, Blackburn Rovers and Brighton advanced to the quarter-finals after all of them won.
Fulham beat Leeds United 2-0, and Blackburn exploded a big surprise and won at Leicester City 2-1, and Brighton beat Stoke City 1-0.
And at Ashton Gate, City settled its victory over Bristol, the competitor in the English Championship, with a goal in the first half and two goals in the second half.
Phil Foden assumed the championship role in City’s victory by scoring the first and second goals at the 7th and 74th minutes, and the Belgian Kevin De Bruyne ensured that he scored the third goal at the 81st minute.
And at Craven Cottage Stadium, Fulham beat Leeds with two goals scored by Joao Palenha and Manor Solomon in the 21st and 56th minutes.
And at King Power Stadium, Blackburn advanced with two goals signed by Terry Dolan and Samuel Szmodex at the 33rd and 52nd minutes, and Kelechi Iheanacho ensured the only goal for Leicester City at the 67th minute.
And at the British Stadium, Ivan Ferguson led his team, Brighton, to beat its host, Stoke City, with a goal he scored at the 30th minute.
