Scaloni will remain with the Argentine national team until 2026

The Argentine Football Association announced, on Monday, the extension of the contract of Lionel Scaloni, coach of the national team, until 2026.
And the Argentine Federation’s account posted on Twitter a picture of the coach and wrote on it that Scaloni continues until 2026.
The 44-year-old coach led the South American national team to victory in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Scaloni has been coaching Argentina since 2018, and during his reign the team returned to the podium after winning the 2021 Copa America, in addition to the World Cup for the first time since 1986.
The decision to extend Scaloni’s contract comes hours before the start of the FIFA Best Awards Ceremony, where he will compete for the Coach of the Year award with Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid coach, and Pep Guardiola, Manchester City coach.
