Saudi Arabia.. The Supreme Court declares Thursday the first day of Ramadan

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Supreme Court in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced that Thursday is the first day of Ramadan, according to the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA), quoting the royal court.

And the Supreme Court said, “Tomorrow, Wednesday, corresponding to March 22, 2023, is the 30th of the month of Sha’ban, and Thursday, the beginning of the month of Ramadan 1444 AH.”

The crescent of the month of Ramadan could not be seen through the astronomical observatory in Tamir.
