The statement of the Saudi Ministry of Interior said that the ruling on the punishment of haraba was imposed on “Muhammad bin Abdul Raziq bin Saad Faydi – a Saudi national”, in the Jeddah governorate, in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region.

After charges were brought against him in connection with the incident and he was referred to the competent court, “a ruling was issued against him… to establish the punishment of warfare against him, and that it be in his minority, and this was supported by his authority, and a royal order was issued to implement what was decided by law and was supported by his authority against the offender.”
The Saudi authorities did not provide further details about when the incident occurred.
