Saint-Germain loses Neymar to Bayern

Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galtier confirmed that his injured Brazilian striker Neymar “will not be available” for the match against Bayern Munich, its host, on Wednesday, in the second leg of the final price of the Champions League.
Neymar suffered an ankle injury during the exciting 4-3 win over Lille in the league two weeks ago.
He participated in the first leg against Bayern, which he lost at his Parc des Princes 1-0 in the middle of last month.
“For the next two matches, Neymar will not be available,” Galtier said on the sidelines of the Ligue 1 match against Nantes on Saturday.
He continued, “Our team is tighter, with the absence of Neymar instead of having two midfielders, we will have three midfielders and two attackers, and the absence of Neymar is not fleeting, he is one of the best passers in the league and it is an unfortunate absence for us.”
Renato Sanchez, who has been injured in the thigh, has also been absent from the match against Nantes since the beginning of February, while defender Prisnel Kimpembe’s season with Achilles tendon has already ended.
