The southern team regained the tone of victories after stumbling in the past three rounds of the competition, as it lost to Al-Ahly “2-0”, and fell into the trap of a negative tie against Al-Ain “0-0”, and lost to Riyadh “2-1”.
Cameroonian striker Alain Akono opened the goals of the match in the last minute of the first half at the minute «45 + 4».
In stoppage time, Hassan Diarra strengthened his team’s lead by scoring the second goal at the minute “90 + 4”, and Carlos reduced the difference by scoring the only goal for his team 90 + 7, before Hussein Al-Asmari fired a bullet of mercy on the guests with a third goal “90 + 11”.
Najran raised its score to 22 points in the 16th place, while Al-Shoulah bottomed the league standings with 11 points.
The Najrani team will compete in the 26th round of the league, on Saturday, when it will receive its Arab counterpart, while Al-Shoula will be a guest on Al-Qadisiyah, on the same day.
