Murray .. a first party in the Doha final

Scotsman Andy Murray, ranked 70 in the world, defeated Czech Jiri Lehicka 6-0, 3-6, 7-6 «8/6», to reach the final of the Doha International Tennis Tournament on Friday.
The former world number one reached his first final on ATP courts since the German Stuttgart tournament last June. The last of his 46 titles came to the Belgian Antwerp tournament in 2019.
Against Lihicka, Murray confirmed his impressive performance since the beginning of the week, after defeating Germany’s Alexander Zverev in the second round on Wednesday.
Thus, Murray, 35, achieved his fourth consecutive victory in three-set matches, which also indicates his good physical level in this tournament.
This victory will allow the two-time Wimbledon winner (2013 and 2016) to approach the first 50 places in the world rankings on Monday.
Murray will meet in the final, the winner of the second semi-final between Russian Daniil Medvedev and Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime later.
