The Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority of the Ministry of Culture announced, on Saturday, the “Book for All” initiative, with the aim of facilitating the book’s journey from the publishing house to the reader’s library, to work on renewing and developing the practice of reading, through projects that increase the diversity and spread of sales outlets, and the acquisition of books in various possible formats. for all segments of society.
The initiative seeks to create a lively and innovative environment that nurtures cultural creativity, and is one of the many projects to reach the book to all people and to enhance sales and distribution outlets, in line with the strategic objectives of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority to align with Vision 2030 AD, in terms of supporting the spread of Saudi books locally and globally, and developing its capabilities in Publication and investment.
The “Book for All” initiative, through the Walaa One application, offers several packages for the reader, where the beneficiary can register in the application, choose what suits him, photocopy the book invoice to earn points, explore offers and discounts, in addition to obtaining special price benefits for books and e-readers, and vouchers.
