In the manner of “free wrestling”.. Seville’s goalkeeper proves encouraging for this reason

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Serbian Marco Dimitrovic, the Seville club goalkeeper, sparked controversy after he installed a fan who tried to assault him in the team’s match against Dutch “PSV Eindhoven” in the 16th round of the European League, on Thursday evening.

Video footage showed a fan storming the stadium and trying to punch the Seville goalkeeper, but the latter knocked him to the ground and pinned him.

The players of both teams and the security men rushed towards the fan, trying to remove the goalkeeper from him, before the fan was pulled and taken off the field.

PSV had won 2-0 over the Andalusian team, but left the tournament as a result of losing the first leg by 3-0.

It is noteworthy that Dimitrovic is the second goalkeeper in Seville after Moroccan Yassin Bounou, and it was decided that he would start a few minutes before the match for reasons that are still unknown.
