Moroccan Abd al-Razzaq Hamdallah, striker of the first football team, presented the list of his country’s national team, which was announced by Walid Rekraki, to play the experimental matches against Brazil and Peru in the first appearance of the “Atlas Lions” team after reaching the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup.
The Moroccan national team, which ranked fourth in the World Cup in Qatar, will play with Brazil on March 25 at the Grand Tangier Stadium, before facing Peru in the Spanish capital, Madrid, three days later.
Regragui used almost all the elements of the Moroccan squad in the World Cup, with the exception of four players, Yahya Gebran, Salim Amlah, Badr Bannoun and Elias El Shaer.
The Morocco coach hired eight new players, including Mehdi Benabid, Al-Fateh Al-Rabati goalkeeper, and Chadi Riyad, Barcelona defender.
The list included 30 players: Yassin Bounou, Reda Al-Taknouti, Munir Al-Mohammadi, Mahdi Benabid in goalkeepers, and Roman Sayes, Naseer Mazrawi, Jawad Al-Yamiq, Ashraf Hakimi, Nayef Akrad, Ashraf Dari, Yahya Atiyatallah, Abdul Kabir Abaqar, Shady Riyad and Ayoub Amrawi in the defense line.
In the midfield, Sufyan Amrabat, Benjamin Bouchaouari, Ezzedine Onahi, Omran Loza, Abdel Hamid Sabiri, Hakim Ziyech, Yassin Keishta and Bilal Al Khanous.
In the attack, Youssef Al-Nusairi, Abd Al-Razzaq Hamdallah, Sufyan Boufal, Abd Al-Samad Al-Zalzouli, Zakaria Abu Khalil, Anas Al-Zaruri, Walid Shadira and Ibrahim Salah.
