FC Barcelona announced the injury of its young striker Ansu Fati, which threatens his next participation, especially against Real Madrid in the Cup competition next week.
And the Catalan club wrote on its official website: “Ansu Fatu suffered bruises in the knee during Friday’s exercises in Joan Gamper Sports City.”
And the club, which was excluded from qualifying for the final price of the Europa League competition against Manchester United, continued: “The player will not be available to participate, and his recovery will dictate his return to the stadiums.”
The 20-year-old international has been plagued by injuries over the last two-and-a-half years.
After being absent for 11 months following knee surgery, Fati returned to Barcelona at the beginning of the 2021-2022 season, but the injury also forced him to miss five months the following season due to muscle problems in his thigh.
While Barcelona did not announce the duration of his young player’s absence, he will miss him on Sunday’s Almeria trip, within the twenty-third stage of La Liga.
However, what worries the “Blaugrana” fans is the possibility of his absence from the upcoming match against rivals Real Madrid next week in the first leg of the Cup semi-final.
