Diaz: I know Al-Duhail.. and his coach played under my leadership

Argentine Ramon Diaz, coach of the Al Hilal first football team, expected a strong match against Al Duhail of Qatar in the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League, stressing that he knows the Qatari competitor well, as well as his coach, who was one of his players in a previous period.
Al-Azraq continued the campaign to successfully defend its continental title, after defeating Iranian Foolad 1-0, Thursday in the quarter-finals, to set a date with Al-Duhail of Qatar, who in turn overcame Al-Shabab 2-1 in the same round, with the winner qualifying to meet Japan’s Urawa in the final.
Diaz said in the press conference after the victory over Foolad: “I watched some of Al-Duhail’s matches, and his coach Crespo had previously played under my supervision, and the confrontation will be popular and exciting.”
Diaz praised what he described as the superstitious effort of his players, and added: “We play under the pressure of the matches, and I thank the players for their superstitious effort throughout this period.”
He concluded, “We played against a physically strong Iranian team. It was difficult for us to match, but we proved our advantage in the end.”
