A traffic accident involving a number of family members of Argentine Ramon Diaz, coach of the Al Hilal first football team, caused the cancellation of the press conference of the Azraq coach, after the end of his team’s match against Al-Fateh, on Tuesday, at the end of the quarter-final round of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup.
Abdullah Al-Dosari, the media coordinator for Al-Hilal and Al-Fateh confrontation, told the journalists in the press conference hall that the Al-Hilal coach’s press conference was withheld due to the death of a family member of the Argentine coach during a traffic accident.
The confrontation that took place at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Al-Malaz ended with the victory of Al-Hilali team over Al-Fateh 3-1, thus joining Al-Ittihad, Al-Wahda and Al-Nasr, and completing the Golden Square contract for the most expensive championships.
Al-Hilal will meet Al-Ittihad in the semi-finals, while Al-Nasr will face Al-Wahda in the same round.
