Changing the stadium for the confrontation between Belouizdad and Al-Merrikh in the Champions League

The Algerian Belouizdad Youth Club announced, on Monday, that it will transfer its match against Al-Merrikh of Sudan in the CAF Champions League to Annaba Stadium, on the seventh of next March.
The match was scheduled to be played at the Fifth of July stadium, which hosted the team’s match against Esperance in the second round, which ended with the Tunisian team’s victory “1-0”.
The leader of the Algerian League wrote on his Facebook page, the social networking site: “The Belouizdad youth administration informs the loyal fans that the date of the return match that will bring our dear team together with Al-Marrekh club has been changed.”
He added, “The Belouizdad Youth Administration will work in the coming hours to facilitate the movement of fans in order to support the team in this match.”
The reason for moving the meeting was not revealed, but press reports indicated that the real reason may be due to avoiding pressure on the team.
Belouizdad lost ′′ 1-0 ′′ at Mars Stadium in the last match, so his hopes of qualifying for the next round are held.
Belouizdad ranks third in the group with three points, six points behind leaders Esperance and one point ahead of second-placed Al-Merreikh, while Egyptian Zamalek is in last place with one point.
