Bologna drops Inter with Orsolini’s goal

Bologna’s first football team did a favor for leaders Napoli, by dropping its guest, Inter II, 1-0, on Sunday, in the twenty-fourth stage of the Italian League.
And with a less severe impact than last season, when he dropped it to the same stadium 2-1 in April in a postponed match that eventually opened the door for its neighbor Milan to win the title by two points, Bologna renewed its victory over Inter at the “Renato del Ara” stadium.
Bologna snatched the lead from a quick counterattack, as a result of which the ball reached Riccardo Orsolini, who fired it wonderfully from the outskirts of the region into the net of Onana (76).
This victory allowed Napoli, who won Saturday against Empoli 2-0, to maintain the 18-point difference that separates them from Inter and to take another step towards clinching their first title since 1990, early in the season.
The seventh defeat of Inter this season raised the intensity of the struggle for the three remaining places that qualify for the Champions League next season, since “Nerazzori” is only 3 points ahead of Roma and its neighbor Milan, the defending champion, and 5 ahead of Lazio.
Milan and Roma will be at the same distance from coach Simone Inzaghi’s team if the first wins at home to Atalanta on Sunday, and the second beats Cremonese on Tuesday, while Lazio will become two points away from “Nerazzuri” if it wins Monday over Sampdoria.
