A delegation from the International Federation of Football Associations visited Saudi Arabia for a period of 3 days, which ended on Tuesday, as part of its inspection tour in preparation for hosting the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup, which is scheduled to take place from December 12-22 next.
The Saudi Football Association received the delegation that arrived in Saudi Arabia on an official inspection visit to assess the stadiums nominated to host the tournament.
The first visit includes inspection tours of King Fahd International Stadium, Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, and King Saud University Stadium, in addition to a visit to training facilities in Riyadh.
This visit is the first among a series of visits to Saudi Arabia to inspect sports facilities and tournament facilities.
It is noteworthy that the International Federation of Football Associations announced on February 14 that Saudi Arabia will host the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup from December 11 to 22.
