Bayern is silent about the fate of Nagelsmann

Bayern Munich, German soccer, has not yet responded to the multiple German media reports indicating that the club will disengage from coach Julian Nagelsmann and sign Thomas Tuchel instead.
The first match for Tuchel, the winner of the European Champions League, will be on the first of next April against his former club, Borussia Dortmund.
Sky TV, Kicker magazine, Bild and Süddeutsche Zeitung newspapers were among the media reporting that Nagelsmann had been sacked after less than two years in charge of coaching the team.
And “Sky” reported that Nagelsmann, who joined Bayern from Leipzig in 2021 for a large transfer fee, will be informed by Bayern officials of his departure, on Friday.
Bayern lost the top spot in the Bundesliga to Dortmund after losing 1-2 to Bayer Leverkusen in the last round, before the summit match that brings Bayern to Dortmund next week after the end of the international break.
“Kicker” stated that Bayern and Tochel had been in contact for several days, and that the loss against Leverkusen accelerated the plans of Bayern officials to remove Nagelsmann.
The newspaper “Sueddeutsche Zeitung” that the 35-year-old Nagelsmann no longer control the locker room.
Bayern Munich reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League – where it faces Manchester City, led by former coach Pep Guardiola, after beating Paris Saint-Germain.
Bayern Munich is also in the quarter-finals of the German Cup, and the team is still competing for the league title, but club officials fear that the team may come out empty-handed if Nagelsmann continues.
Tuchel coached Dortmund until 2017 before moving to Saint-Germain and then to Chelsea, where he led him until last September.
Tuchel led Saint-Germain to reach the 2020 Champions League final, where he lost to Bayern, but won the championship with Chelsea a year later.
The name of Tuchel, 49, was linked to the training of Tottenham and Real Madrid.
