Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) — Athletes interacted with the Saudi club Al-Hilal’s qualification to the final match of the 2022 AFC Champions League, after sweeping Al-Duhail, Qatar, by seven goals.
And the “Crescent Blue” hit a date with Japan’s Urawa Red Diamonds in the closing scene of the Asian Champions League.
The Saudi Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, said through his Twitter account: “Congratulations to Al-Hilal for qualifying for the AFC Champions League final, an honorable performance and level, congratulations to the homeland, and you have the title, champions.”
And the World Cup account wrote in Arabic: “For the final of the AFC Champions League, they qualify for the FIFA Club World Cup Saudi Arabia 2023. They dream of winning the 2022 edition. They are still celebrating. Wonderful days in Riyadh because of the Blue Crescent wave.”
