Al-Orouba first football team turned the tables on its host Al-Faisaly, and came from behind with a goal to a 2-1 victory, in the confrontation that brought them together, on Wednesday, at Al-Majmaa Sports City Stadium, in the 23rd round of the Yellow League for first-division clubs.
Al-Faisaly took the lead in the match through Kenyan Masoud Juma at the 51st minute, before Al-Orouba scored the equalizer through Brazilian Philippe Maya at the 78th minute.
At a time when the match was heading towards a draw, Brazilian Raylan Bruno added the second goal to Al-Orouba at the 90th + 6th minute of stoppage time.
With this victory, Al-Orouba raised its score to 29 points in the tenth place, while Al-Faisaly’s balance stopped at 37 points in the seventh place.
Al-Orouba will host its counterpart, Al-Jabaleen, on Wednesday, and Al-Faisaly will meet Qaisumah, on Tuesday, in the 24th round of the league.
