Al Wahda represents the Emirates in the King Salman Cup

The UAE Football Association announced, on Tuesday, the participation of Al-Wahda’s first football team in the King Salman Cup for clubs, which is organized by the Arab Football Association in the middle of this year.
Thus, the Emirati unit became the representative of his country in the tournament hosted by three Saudi cities: Abha, Al-Baha and Taif, next summer.
It is scheduled that the clubs participating in the tournament will compete for prize money worth more than 10 million dollars, as their competitions begin with the preliminary qualifying stage, and then the final qualifiers.
The King Salman Club Championship is an extension of the Arab club championships that started in 1982, and varied between the Champions Clubs Championship, the Cup Winners’ Clubs Championship, the Arab Confederation Cup, the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Cup, the Arab Champions League, the Zayed Cup for Champions Clubs, And the Mohammed VI Cup for Champions Clubs.
