Al-Shabab Club announced, on Saturday, that Brazilian first-team soccer striker Carlos Junior will undergo x-rays at the site of his injury to determine its type and rehabilitation program.
The capital club, through its official account on Twitter, the social networking site, did not reveal, on Saturday, more details about the date of the x-rays or developments related to the Brazilian player’s injury.
The Brazilian Junior was injured during his team’s match against Al-Duhail of Qatar, Thursday, in the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League, as a result of which the team was eliminated from the continental championship after losing 1-2.
On the field, the youth team resumed its training, on Saturday, at its home stadium, under the supervision of Spain’s Vicente Moreno, the coach of the team, who divided the players into two groups.
Moreno gave the players a two-day rest, to resume their preparations on Tuesday, in preparation for the meeting with justice, on Saturday, in the 19th round of the Saudi Roshen League.
