Al-Shabab Club announced, on Sunday, the health status of Argentinian Ever Banega, Brazilian Carlos Junior and Saeed Al-Rubaie, the injured trio of the first football team.
According to a medical report published on the official Al Assi Club account on Twitter, the social networking site, Banega was injured in the calf muscle, with which he needs a recovery period of about 14 days, while the medical examination showed that Junior was injured in the ligaments of the ankle joint, without specifying the duration of the player’s absence. And his recovery period, and Saeed Al-Rubaie needs a period of two to 3 weeks to recover from the thigh muscle injury.
Accordingly, the trio will be absent from facing Al-Adala and Al-Fayhaa, respectively, in the Saudi Roshan League, with the expectation that they will return against Al-Raed in the 21st round of the local league.
The Spanish coach, Vicente Moreno, gave the players a 48-hour rest before returning to training on Tuesday, in preparation for completing his matches in the Roshen League after being eliminated from the AFC Champions League.
