And the Al-Asimi club revealed, through its official account on Twitter, the social networking site, on Tuesday, that Marija will undergo a treatment and rehabilitation program that will last for three weeks.
According to the period of absence announced by the club, Marija will not be available to participate against Al-Wehda, Al-Fateh and Al-Taawon Al-Ettifaq in the Saudi Roshan League, in addition to another confrontation against Al-Ettifaq in the quarter-finals of the King’s Cup.
On the field, Al-Azraq players returned to their usual training, at the club’s stadium, after they enjoyed a day of rest after returning from Qatar, and the qualification ticket to the 2022 AFC Champions League final was decided.
The capital city team reached the continental final for the second time in a row, after its sweeping victory over Al-Duhail, Qatar, 7-0, to set a date with Japan’s Urawa in a repeat of the 2017 and 2019 finals.
The training session, led by Argentine Ramon Diaz, focused on the physical and tactical aspects, and concluded with a fine maneuver on part of the field.
And it was decided that the Crescent delegation would leave, on Wednesday, for Taif, in preparation for the Al-Wehda match, on Thursday, in the 19th round of the Saudi Roshan League.
